We spent the last weekend of February enjoying the unseasonably warm weather in the UK. On Friday night we took A65 to the Lake District, where we pitched up in the Langdale valley.
Our first port of call was the Langdale boulders. Although there are only two boulders, there is an impressive range of route difficulty - perfect for a casual morning of climbing, we thought. We ended up staying at Langdale boulders until fog descended and the sun set. The scenery was breathtaking, and the quality of the climbing was excellent in places.
We both opened accounts on unfinished projects, Hannah on the Overhang 7a and myself on Erasure 7b. The climbs shown in the film are, in order:
