Reacting to the incident, Iltija Mufti said the manner in which the minor girl was allegedly assaulted reflects the growing insecurity faced by women in society. She expressed serious concern over the safety of women and children and said such incidents have created fear among the public.
She further stated that the government must introduce stricter laws and stronger measures to prevent such crimes in the future and ensure justice for the victim’s family.
