Three corridors of the Chennai Metro Phase-II project, comprising 128 stations, will connect the North to the South and the East to the West of Chennai:
• Corridor 1: Madhavaram - SIPCOT with 50 stations
• Corridor 2: Lighthouse - Poonamalle Bypass with 30 stations
• Corridor 3: Madhavaram - Sholinganallur with 48 stations
This project will ease traffic, improve sustainability, and drive economic growth. Additionally, commuter-friendly multi-modal integration will be provided at 21 locations, enhancing connectivity and convenience for travellers.
Total Cost: Rs.63,246 crore
