Concerns over a possible LPG gas shortage have started affecting daily life in Bhubaneswar, with the impact now being felt directly in household kitchens.

Reports show long queues outside several LPG depots across the city as people rush to secure cooking gas cylinders. Many residents were seen sitting in line with their gas books, fearing that gas supply might run out.

Consumers claim that even after booking LPG cylinders, deliveries are being delayed, which has increased anxiety among the public. The situation comes shortly after LPG prices were increased by around ₹60, adding to the concern.

With rumours of a possible gas supply shortage due to the ongoing Middle East conflict, people have started gathering in large numbers at LPG agencies across the capital city.

Authorities are yet to clarify whether the gas shortage is real or just a panic-driven rush.
