San Diego Schools can bill insurance for Wellness Services thanks to state grant. After recent legislation, Medi-Cal and commercial/private health plans must reimburse schools for eligible behavioral health services delivered to students. (NBC7)
Through the California Department of Health Care Services’ Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) Fee Schedule, school districts can receive reimbursement for eligible wellness and emotional wellbeing services students already receive at school. To access this funding, we are asking you to share your health insurance information and provide consent.
