I've used dual Grenade Bow and the M249 machine gun, but you don't really need 8th slot weapons (at least not in Broken SunSet). Dual Grenade Bow and a good secondary weapon should also do the job. I prefer the dual Bow because it gives you more way more mobility in my opinion.
I've also used T-Capsule and Fast Reload, those are not really necessary to win, but it helps you a lot in this map.
