In this trip, we head to Little Bay de Noc on Lake Michigan — one of the most legendary ice fishing destinations in the Midwest — chasing trophy walleye, giant northern pike, and bonus surprises through the ice.

We base out of Escanaba, Michigan and spend two full days on the bay fishing with Arrow to Auger Guide Service. Our guide, Chandler, grew up fishing Little Bay de Noc and puts his lifetime of local knowledge to work, providing all the gear, bait, and expertise needed to stay on fish despite tough weather and a challenging bite.

From an early-morning walleye to a late-day trophy pike, plus jumbo perch and some unexpected catches (including a mudpuppy!), this trip had it all. Even when conditions were tough, the experience, the scenery, and the company made it unforgettable.
