This short film was produced as a final project for Music in the Performing Arts, a class at PTHS. This course is a survey of the fundamentals of film, live theatre, dance, and concert production. As students gain knowledge and competence in each of these disciplines, they explore how music impacts each one of them. Projects will include the creation of a short film, a music/dance video, a live music event, and a children's musical. Students will be encouraged to use and enhance skills they already have while learning new production skills related to the design of live and multimedia events that incorporate music in a meaningful way.
You don’t need to be a performer to take this class!
This course is open to all students—no music experience required, and no performance is expected. Whether you're a fan of music, film, storytelling, or just want to try something new, you’ll find something to enjoy. It's a creative, collaborative, and low-pressure environment where you can explore music in the world of film, theater, and more. Come be part of something different!
