(6 Oct 2021) The widow of Haiti's assassinated president Jovenel Moïse met Wednesday with the judge overseeing the case, three months after he was shot dead at their home in the capital Port-au-Prince.
Martine Moïse spent almost three hours in talks with the judge at the Palace of Justice.
She then emerged to call on the public to come forward with any information that might help track down her husband's killers.
"I will not stop until I find justice for the president," she declared.
The former first lady, who was injured during the shooting in July, was flown to Miami for treatment and has been living there temporarily.
She said she would be available for further meetings with the judge whenever she is needed.
Earlier, there were brief clashes between supporters and opponents of the late president.
More than 40 suspects have been arrested over Moise's killing, including 20 Haitian police officers and 18 former Colombian soldiers.
Authorities say other suspects are still on the run, including a former Haitian senator.
