Sweetmince Slice
Ingredients
A lined tray bake tin around 7" x 11"
9oz (2 cups) Plain Flour
2.5oz (1/3 cup) Soft Brown Sugar
8oz (1 cup) Softened Butter
1 tsp Vanilla
2Tbs Semolina
Set oven to Mk 5 - 375f - 190c- 175c fan
Mix all above ingredients to a soft dough. Cover the bottom of a lined tin with about 2 thirds of the mixture and press down.
Spread a whole jar of Sweetmince over the dough.
Crumble the last third of mixture evenly on top.
Into the oven for 30 mins give or take..
Cut into portions whilst fresh out of the oven, but then leave to cool completely in the tin before lifting out.

Link to sweetmince recipe. I usually make a half batch, use vegetarian suet and miss out the almonds as I'm not keen on them..
