Archaic Ascension adds in the ability to evolve all rideable (sans the arthro and reaper (for now)) vanilla creatures. This mod is meant as an alternative to the traditional dino mod which mostly ignores vanilla, and spawns in a ton of extra creatures. This mod requires you to play the vanilla experience. As you use your dinos in battle, a kill counter will increase until the require amount of kills are met to evolve. After this is done, a UI prompt will appear and you can evolve your dino. When a creature evolves, the evolution takes the level of its pre-evolution creature and sets it as its base level, allowing you to continue leveling.

This mod is geared toward PVP as well as extending the game play of PVE. For PVP play, Alpha Tribes can no longer just go tame replacement powerful creatures after a battle. They must work to replace what they lost. This could cause huge shifts in power on PVP servers.

The creatures in this mod are no frills. Currently there are no special particles or anything crazy denoting a beta and alpha, simply color shifts. Eventually I might add some small particles to add to the effect, but nothing crazy or over the top. .

Pyria forms behind the request of many wanting an ark full of fantasy-styled creatures, a desire ignited by Scorched Earth and fueled by the science-fiction of Aberration! Pyria builds on this desire, as Pyria follows the main plot of “What if the Ark somehow had access to a dead world of Fantasy, and began to recreate it as well?”. Discover an ark full of fantastic creatures, elements, and magic! With the resurrection of these creatures comes the resurrection of an age-old battle between Dark and Light. Pick a side and find your way through a harsh new world, discovering new creatures and allies, as well as facing brand new, extremely dangerous threats. Discover the hidden secrets behind the old world of Pyria; and discover how both the creatures of Ark, as well as the natives of Pyria, have adapted to each other! Pyria will test a survivor's knowledge of the game. What works against what, what gives an advantage in a situation. How to deal with certain enemies to make them easier, what weaknesses (every creature in Pyria has one!) can turn the tide of war!


MAP AMISSA: AMISSA is a bit bigger than The Island
7 different biomes (Snow, Desert, Redwood, Mushroom Redwoods, Swamp, Grass/Jungle and Red Jungle)
Almost all dinos are in, incl. SE, Aberration and Extinction Dinos
All resources are in, incl. SE and Aberration Resources (more spots are coming)
You can learn all Engrams (The Island, SE, Aberration and Extinction)
Different player spawns as on other maps
Mountain Wyvern (Bigger but not aggresive untill you hit them or steal the egg. Also knockout tameable)
Macaw Argent (Exotic version of the vanilla Argent, also not aggresive untill you harm them)
Custom battle music (day and night version)
Custom music volumes, area based around the map
Add SE, AB and Ext loot crates
Custom Boss Arenas (Broodmother and Gorilla, Dragon is vanilla)
