A disastrous start at NAIA turned into the ultimate Taipei day 1 adventure! 👟🧋
I can't believe this happened. My only pair of shoes completely broke while I was waiting for my flight at NAIA! Talk about a rough start to my 4-day trip to Taiwan (November 1-4). After a slightly awkward flight (can you even fly barefoot?), I landed in Taipei and headed straight to the legendary Ximending district on an emergency mission: Find new shoes, immediately.
Follow along as I navigate the bright lights, frantic crowds, and dozens of sneaker shops in search of the perfect pair to save my trip. But a travel emergency is the perfect excuse to explore, right? Between shoe stores, I had my very first food trip!
