It's so great to be able to get back to my prize for the Lather Games of '21, a generous gift of a Titanium razor from Carbon Shaving. I'll be trying the Minus (-) plate for the first time.
I also try out a new-to-me B4 brush from Declaration.
Razor: Carbon Shaving Co - Cx-Ti
Blade: Feather (4)
Lather: DR Harris Hard Soap - Marlborough
Brush: Declaration Grooming - B4 Cane 26mm (1 uses)
Post: Thayers Witch Hazel - Unscented Alc-free w Aloe
Razor and Blade Notes - Carbon Shaving Co - Cx-Ti ::: Feather (4 uses):
Even with the mild plate, it sounded off with blade chatter during the first pass. That was greatly reduced on the 2nd and 3rd passes.
I did get a touch of irritation on the neck, but it didn't last long. So even the mild plate, when loaded with a Feather, can do some damage.
Soap Notes - DR Harris Hard Soap - Marlborough:
I love this scent! I guess I mostly get the cedar (and not the pungent US type of cedar), sandalwood, and maybe a hint of the citrus to balance it out.
Them: "a warm woody aroma". Scents: Cedar, Sandalwood, Orange, Lemon, Lime
Scent strength: 4-5/10. Was nicely present during shave.
It paired well with the PDP 63 balm.
Lather: A very nice one today. I ended up with way too much of it. I went back to the puck and it looks like I picked up too much soap then, but it worked out great.
Creamy and slick.
Hydration: Perfect (for me)
60 sec load with a Lightly-Wet brush
6.7 tsp added to make lather
= 7 passes of lather
Bowl: Roger Quintero 3D Printed Bowl
I use the XL version of this bowl.

Brush Notes - Declaration Grooming - B4 Cane 26mm (1 uses):
Man, this brush was huge. Nice soft tips and very easy splay!
*Shave Quality*
During the Shave Feel:
Cheeks: A little irritating
Neck: A little irritating
After the Shave Closeness:
Cheeks: Near BBS - About as close as I'll ever get
Neck: Few hairs are showing some tip length (with most being cut flush)
I'm gradually adding answers to frequent questions here: http://www.sugardaddyshaves.com
Wetshaving is the age-old shaving method where you create a lather from a soap or cream, usually with a brush. And these days, we also usually mean using a safety razor (aka double edge or DE) or single edge or straight razor to remove the hair. We often enjoy less irritated skin, healthier skin, more enjoyable shaves, and often closer shaves than those who use a multi-bladed cartridge and canned shaving foam.
