I have sensitive skin, really sensitive skin. Trying to find yarn that works for me has been a STRUGGLE and continues to be an ongoing effort. As much as I would love to cast aside superwash merino, it is one of few fiber types that has treated me well. Fingers crossed over the next few years, I’ll be able to transition over to fully natural fibers. That’s a very personal goal. I am hoping the recommendations in the comment section will help me in achieving it.
This video was a long time coming since it is definitely my top deciding factor when purchasing yarn. I have made waaaaay too many yarn purchase mistakes in the past. The online impulse shopping was REAL. But this year is different. I am different. It’s time to work down my stash so I can make room for the beautiful yarn out there that will (hopefully) better align with my values and better accommodate my sensitive skin.
