This is a beautiful arrangement of a Prelude by Alexander Scriabin. Yes, his name can also be spelled Scryabin. I love all the chromatics that can be found in this piece. Keep in mind that there are differences between just a dotted eighth note and a DOUBLE dotted eighth note. With the written out repeat you want to try to find variations in how you play it to keep things interesting. Vibrato is always a bonus but also keep in mind this piece doesn't need a ton~ you can pick and choose where NOT to vibrate and create a really beautiful effect.
This is considered a UIL level 2 piece for cello. Hope you try it out!
