Why People Trust Brands They’ve Never Heard Of

We make trust decisions faster than we realize. Before we read the copy. Before we look for proof. Before we even know what we’re responding to.
I started noticing this in my own behavior. How quickly I decide whether something feels right when I’m scrolling Netflix, YouTube, or even a dating app.
In this video, I’m talking through how those snap judgments form, what people are responding to in the first few moments they encounter a brand, and why trust often shows up as a feeling long before it becomes a thought.
We’ll look at things like:
• How quickly trust impressions form
• Why visual language carries so much weight
• What benevolent intent feels like when it’s present — and when it’s not
• Why misalignment between visuals, messaging, and experience creates hesitation
Most of the time, we don’t consciously analyze these moments. Research shows we just feel them. And by the time we’re actively evaluating a brand, that initial feeling is already making the decisions for you.
This video is about sharing my discoveries on what’s happening in our brains when it comes to brand trust.
