The Southwest Coastal Path | Ep.01: Devon's Crumbling Coastline - From Watcombe to Meadfoot.

Описание: The first episode in my South West Coastal Path Series. A 7 mile hike on the South Devon Coast. We hiked a short section of this UK National Trail from Watcombe Beach to Meadfoot Beach in the searing summer heat.
Throughout this video we see the impact of storms on the crumbling sandstone cliffs along the route. We'll see evidence of limestone quarrying and its dramatic contribution to the landscape and some real hidden gems on the doorstep of Torquay.
We were hunting for an epic sunset but along the way we would discover a whole host of epic landmarks ideal for photographers, explorers and geologists alike.
This is a manageable route for most able walkers with plenty of undulation and rest spots along the way but the rewards are endless, with numerous viewpoints to enjoy. I hope it inspires some of you to walk this trail or part of it and be sure to let me know if you do down in the comments below.
