Something Thailand does extremely well is Cafés, and during my quest to find the best ones, I learnt to expect the unexpected.
Unlike many of the cafés I found in Bangkok, Park Sathorn can be found in the city centre (some of the others were a 30-40 minutes drive outside of the city).
This one offers some beautiful indoor and outdoor seating areas which you reach via bridges across koi ponds and babbling streams, or through winding misty pathways.
You'll even find a waterfall here.
Right in the centre of the cafe you’ll meet the resident parrots.
But the biggest surprise of all - a dragon. Yes, you heard me correctly, a dragon. Thankfully, he doesn't breathe fire.
