chulichag is a small village near pakistan border. this is just near batalik village and its height is approxe 2683 mtrs above sea level. prior there is permit needed to reach this point but no there is no special permit required for batalik sector. this area is completely untouch by traveller. you can reach there by two route first is from kargil and another one is alsi village. i took kargil to hemnutingla route to reach there. i started my ride from kargil city to hambutingla then we went shashi la pass then after we reached batalik. there is one police check post at batalik if the allow then you can go to batalik village and chulichang post. this area is very similar to turtuk and thang village.
