In this episode, Mayor Crate welcomed Ariane Yazdan, Executive Director of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Ocean County, to talk about the vital work her organization does on behalf of foster children.
Since 2006, CASA of Ocean County, an independent nonprofit, has served as a voice in the courtroom for abused and neglected children. CASA of Ocean County is part of a nation-wide program that has helped more than 2 million children find safe, permanent homes where they can thrive. Ariane shares what CASA volunteers do, how the community can support their mission and how you can become a CASA volunteer and help change a child’s life.
