S3 Replays: Oops! All Chargers! Now with Crab Tanks! (Fully Charged, Chargers only)

Описание: As I've said previously, I've always have the most fun with Chargers (at least with the backline ones) when I'm fighting other Chargers. This is especially the case when it's the same charger as the one I'm using, because then it comes down to skill and mind games. There's just something about Charger Vs. Charger mind games that I find very fun.

Humpback Pump track was a surprisingly good map pick for this challenge, and made it very easy for the longer range chargers to flank and distract from the opponent's side of mid (middle of the map) Eeltail Alley, though . . . well, it was surprisingly favorable to the shorter range chargers, (GooTuber and Squiffer) which could more easily push up, out paint, and edge out the longer range ones. Also, Eeltail has a great view of the opponent's spawn region, with a bright blue backdrop to easily spot any opponents super jumping from spawn to a not so hidden Beakon, which made camping Beakon jumps that much easier. Given the list of Chargers I chose to use, you can probably guess which map I had more fun on.

Seeing as I like all three of Splat Charger's kits, I decided to use all three of them. I didn't realize Crab Tank has the range to harass E-liter on relatively even footing. That's freaking crazy. Two or three coordinated Charger shots could break a Crab very quickly if you weren't careful where you used it, though. The Splash Wall on the Z+F kit was excellent for flanking on Humpback.

When it came to using Custom E-Liter, I followed the footsteps of someone I'd faced in an earlier Humpback match and used Beakons to take over the right flank, constantly pushing in and harassing from that side of the map. I didn't do quite so well with C-Liter on Eeltail, though.

I once again elected to skip trying Bamboo's Mk. ll and use the Mk. l kit, because I felt it would do better against all the backline chargers. But, maybe I shouldn't have, as the Mk. ll kit would have been better for contesting the Splat Zone.
