Catching ghost crabs on the beach at night might be Jase's new favorite thing to do! For spring break, we went camping at Hanna Park Campground in Jacksonville, Florida! Jase saw a sign for ghost crabs near the beach telling us there were ghost crabs on the beach. He asked if we can try to catch a ghost crab, so we did a little research on how, as we had never done this before!

Ghost crabs are best caught in the dark, at night, as they are nocturnal. Use a flashlight to scan the beach as you walk up and down. Most people would want to have a net to catch the crabs, but Jase didn't need one! He would just run right up to them and grab them with his bare hands! He had a blast catching ghost crabs and got pinched a few times, but that didn't stop him from wanting to find more!
