Winter storm Ezra to blast the Great Lakes, Northeast & Canada & cold air coming behind until Jan.

Описание: So there's a low-pressure system in the Midwest that will become a winter storm in parts of the Northeast, the Great Lakes, and the Upper Midwest, and into Canada, of course. So please be careful. This winter storm is expected to intensify into a boom cycle over the Great Lakes, and it will bring some damaging winds close to hurricane-force winds in parts of the Great Lakes, and some heavy snow across central, southeastern Canada, the Upper Midwest, and the Appalachians. And this storm will also bring some damaging ice across parts of the Northeast and the Upper Midwest across Michigan. And parts of upstate New York might have more than one quarter of an inch of ice. So please stay safe over the next 48 hours, and also across further into New England, some ice, and into Atlantic Canada, some ice possible, too, and a little bit of snow. So please stay safe with this system. Be careful of the heavy snow, the dangerous ice, and damaging winds, and warn others. So also behind this low-pressure system, there's some cold air from northern Canada to come down to the U.S., and this will cause some very cold temperatures across much of Canada, and much of the central eastern U.S. This cold will be primarily centered around the Midwest and the East Coast, and down to the southeast as well. So please be aware. Some temperatures, the minus 10s in the northern plains, possible for many days. In the northeast, some negative temperatures, Fahrenheit as well, and some 10s, 20s, more areas across the Midwest. Even the mid-south, on the coldest day on Wednesday, so please be careful and stay warm. Very cold across Canada as well, especially across central northwestern Canada, in the minus 30s, close to minus 40, but also some very negative temperatures southeastern and eastern Canada, too. So stay safe, stay warm, and be careful. Across the western U.S., there are a few fronts in Alaska from the Pacific, but there's an area of moisture in the Pacific that might bring some rain to California. So be careful of that as well, like in a few days from now, and more Pacific fronts possible in the first week of January across the West Coast, some snow in the Rockies and everything. DANGEROUS GREAT WAVES:
This rapidly strengthening storm system will whip up the Great Lakes on Monday, bringing powerful winds and extreme wave heights. Open-water waves are expected to reach 25-30 feet, with Lake Superior potentially seeing waves over 30 feet.
