STORYLINE:
Residents evacuating from the Kherson region were seen boarding trains in Crimea on Thursday.
Russian-installed officials have said evacuations amid shelling and fighting in the region are voluntary.
In many cases, the only route out is to Dzhankoi in Crimea, where people take trains to either Russia or other Crimean cities.
