Whirl/Wet captures dusts at efficiencies of 99% and higher for a wide range of micron sizes. Systems are ideal for combustible and hazardous dusts, fibrous or abrasive dusts, dust loadings that are variable or heavy, and both soluble and insoluble particulate. Whirl /Wet uses less water than any competitive dust collection system; water level is maintained automatically, and additional water is only needed to compensate for evaporation or sludge removal. Energy generated inside the unit will not allow the system to clog under any operating conditions, so the agglomeration and sticky residues that plug baghouses are not a problem with the Whirl /Wet.
Whirl /Wet has no internal moving parts to wear or replace, and is self-cleaning. 3 system formats to meet every need and space limitation, including a “zero shutdown” unit, for facilities operating continuously.
