We continue out of Lienz alongside the River Drau and climb out of the Drautalbahn to join the Pustertalbahn for the run into Italy and on into Brunico/Bruneck.
On a sunny winter's morning, this ride will provide some lovely river, valley and mountain views as the line takes us from Austria into Italy.
This is Part 2 of a two-part series, where I'll be heading out from Klagenfurt over the Austria-Italy border to Brunico/Bruneck to get a taste of both the Drautalbahn, but also part of the Pustertalbahn (the Puster Valley Railway).
