The Strokes - Ode To The Mets (No Synth Intro)

This is a fan edit of The Strokes' song "Ode To The Mets" from their album "The New Abnormal." For whatever reason the band made the decision to place a synth intro on it that doesn't match anything in the rest of the song. This decision was likely intentional, as it creates a jarring, fake-out before the track really starts, but I didn't really like hearing it when listening to the song individually, outside of the context of the album.
I used some stem splitting algorithms and a little EQ to remove the synths. Then I just compiled everything back together. I'm really pleased with the result, to the extent that I'm even more confused on why this bit was left on the original. Whatever the case, it's still an amazing song.
