Baby Kitten Immobilized by Painful Leg Deformity

Описание: Autumn is a tiny, four-week-old kitten who was surrendered by her owner due to a rare deformity that requires surgical reconstruction.

Little Autumn was born with a rare genetic condition that causes her back legs to be twisted and deformed. Consequentially, poor Autumn is unable to walk normally. Her owner was unable to care for her and subsequently surrendered the kitten to our care.

We are taking Autumn to the veterinarian today for an examination and ongoing treatment plan. In order to correct her deformity, Autumn will need to undergo corrective surgery under the care of an orthopedic specialist.

As Autumn grows and gets heavier, her deformity will cause increasing pain and discomfort. However, we are hopeful that surgery at a young age will correct her limbs. Her hind legs are rotated inwardly as a result of the congenital deformity which leads to her walking on her ankle joints.

We are doing everything in our power to help poor Autumn but we operate solely on donations and don't have enough funds for her surgical treatment. We're relying on our generous supporters to help raise enough funds for her critical medical care.
