Sleepy eyes but we feel fine!

Milk and dates and yummy bread,
“Bismillah” is what we said.

Mama calls, “Come eat, come eat!”
Little footsteps, patter feet!

Water sip and tiny bite,
Now we’re ready for the light!


No more snacks, we wait, we wait,
Patience makes our hearts feel great.

Kind words only, no complain,
Good deeds falling like soft rain.

Read Qur’an, help and play,
Smile bright all through the day.

When we feel a little slow,
Allah loves when patience grows.

Allahu Akbar, stand in line,
Shoulder close, we feel so fine.

Little hands up to the sky,
Whisper duas, soft and shy.

Ruku’, sujood, down we go,
Forehead touching nice and slow.

Subhanallah, hearts so light,
Praying in the golden light.


Adhan calling, Allahu Akbar!
Day is done, not very far.

Date in hand, we softly pray,
“Thank You Allah for today!”

Crunchy samosa, fruit so sweet,
Juicy pakora, yum to eat!

Rooh Afza in a shiny cup,
Happy smiles filling up!

Family gathered, side by side,
Grateful hearts so full inside.

Twinkle stars and lantern light,

Lay to sleep with peaceful mind,
Counting blessings, being kind.

Thirty days will zoom away,
But good habits choose to stay!
