Breckenridge, CO - ◊◊ Imperial Ridge to ◊ Alpine Alley (2-13-24) [4K]

Описание: The Imperial Express finally opened around 10:30am so I made a beeline for the T-Bar to get here! Imperial is also the highest ski lift in North America, which is pretty neat. For real though, this is one of the coolest views I've ever seen in my life, maybe only surpassed by a partial hike of Mount Rainier. When I went here in January this area wasn't even open, but I'm so glad it was open today as I wasn't sure if they were going to take it off wind hold!

About the trail itself, it's also ironically probably the easiest double diamond I've skied in my life. I'm pretty sure it's just to scare off people who would crowd what is otherwise a pretty exclusive area. I hope the locals don't kill me for this, but I do highly recommend checking this one out just for the view and experience, plus it's usually groomed!

Advice: It might be a little windy at the top, that's basically it. Otherwise, the lift takes a bit to open each morning as it "opens at patrol discretion", so don't plan on getting there right at 9am.
