What was intended to be a routine hull inspection report becomes an account of sudden threat to humanity, and from the most unexpected source.
Originally published as Beware the Fury in the April 1954 issue of Fantastic magazine, which re-published it again in September 1967. There was one other magazine appearance in the January 1986 issue of an Italian magazine called Urania, which re-published it in a 2004 collection of the author's stories. Inclusions in other collections are: Sturgeon in Orbit in 1964, Parallele X in 1969, a French one in 1977, and Bright Segment in 2010.
