How I Grow Heliconias Indoors and Outside | False Bird of Paradise

Описание: Finally talking about my all time favorite tropical plant! Heliconias, also known as the false bird of paradise, due to their resemblance to bird of paradise plants and flowers, are excellent tropical plants. There are tons of different types of heliconias, I mostly just discussed the most common here in the USA that are likely to be grown by people indoors and outside. The psittacorum heliconias like heliconia psittacorum andromeda, or the heliconia psittacorum choconiana seem to be the most common. These parrots beak heliconias grow quite easily outdoors if given light, plenty of water and lots of nutrients. Growing heliconias indoors however, that's not usually as simple. It isn't hard to keep them alive indoors, but keeping them looking their best and flowering inside, that's a greater challenge for most.
