Описание:
At the end of 2013 due to a dramatic increase in beach erosion, and severe weather, including the worse tidal surge in 60 years, the northern end of the beach by the Royal Plain and Royal Green, known as ‘Children’s Corner’ has been closed for safety reasons.
Work to repair the seawall will start in September 2014. The award winning Blue Flag beach to the south of the Claremont Pier is unaffected.
The fountains, shops, restaurants and pier businesses around Royal Plain, South Pier and the Esplanade are all open and operating as normal.
