Fresh greens in winter! We harvest our own organic greens in winter, in zone 5 Wisconsin.
Our indoor grow tent has been up and growing for a little over a month now, and the leafy greens are filling out nicely. In fact, everything is growing so quickly, it is time for a bigger indoor harvest.

We are getting our daily vegetables fresh from both the indoor garden grow tent and even from the area outside the grow tent. This is so exciting when you consider the fact that we are in the middle of January, here in zone 5 (temperatures outside are in the 10-25 Fahrenheit range), and we are still getting amazing, fresh, organic, healthy vegetables.

There is nothing quite like the experience of being in the middle of winter and not even leaving the comfort of your home to gather the freshest leafy greens for dinner.
