For nine days straight, India has reported a terrible tally of more than 300,000 Covid cases.
Today was no different, with another new record set. It's worth remembering the true numbers may be five to 10 times higher.
Life-saving oxygen remains in short supply and is likely to be for some time. Consequently, as the ill suffer in distressing scenes which you're about to see, some are hoarding supplies being sold on a flourishing black market which further penalises the poor.
