From the album Brave New World (1985), a Twisted Red Cross compilation.
Ethnic Faces, an amalgam of talent that paved the way for other bands to follow. Born out of two pioneering Brave New World bands, The Zoo, later renamed Ocean Zoo, to avoid confusion with an Australian band of the same name, and The Lost Boys. In the midst of the bludgeoning punk scene of the early 80's. Ethnic Faces was a band who fearlessly tread where other bands cowered and buckled. Playing new wave before anyone else ever did in concert right after frentic sets of punk bands Ethinic faces established its own set of followers. Live lead singer Jack Sikat had been the perfect front man - painting his face, bringing a gong on stage , slamming with guitar player on stage and wearing his trademark salakot. the bands essence was a heavy mix of their new wave interest, Pinoy humor and political activism.
