Recorded live at the Capital Centre, Landover, Maryland on May 5, 1979.
The New Barbarians was a supergroup formed and led by The Rolling Stones and former Faces guitarist Ronnie Wood to promote his 1979 album "Gimme Some Neck." The line-up included The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, Return to Forever's bassist Stanley Clarke, former Small Faces/Faces keyboardist Ian McLagan, saxophonist Bobby Keys and The Meters' drummer Zigaboo Modeliste.
"Let's Go Steady" a.k.a. "Let's Go Steady Again" is a song written by J.W. Alexander and released by soul singer Sam Cooke in 1959.
This concert was never officially released on video and all of its bootleg releases have a questionable, "for historical purposes" quality — though it is a professional shooting. The footage of this upload was taken from the 2010 Keith Richard's bootleg "Solo Works: the Video Collection" straight from the DVD, with a lot of corrections. It was, however, officially released on audio CD in 2006 as "Buried Alive: Live in Maryland" in a very good quality, albeit with some occasional distortions — the audio of this upload was taken directly from the CD and properly synced.
