Today we are sharing another plate that you can make with the homemade pepper salt! We are cooking crispy scallops sprinkle with pepper salt. This pepper salt eliminates any fishy taste from the scallops and deep-frying scallops is a perfect alternative of the usual pan-fried scallop dish.

Ingredients Used:
Scallops - 2 Ib
Sweet Potato Starch - 1/2 Cup
Jalapenos - Chopped 2 pieces
Minced Garlic - 5 cloves
Pepper Salt -1/2 Tsp
Steps:
Prepping the Scallops
1. Defrost and fully wash the scallops
2. Cook the scallops in boiling water until its 60% cooked
3. Drain the water
Battering and Fry Scallops
1. Mix yam powder with 1 cup of water
2. Dip the cooked scallops in the batter
3. Put the battered scallops into the frying oil one by one (oil temperature around 120C)
4. Fry until the batter is slightly golden brown
5. Once all the scallops are fried, reheat the oil to 180C
6. Fry all the scallops for the second time for 30 seconds
Cook
1. In a clean wok, add 1Tbsp of oil, jalapenos and minced garlic
2. Add the scallops
3. Sprinkle in pepper salt
4. Served immediately
