Israel's ground operations in West Asia continue to escalate tensions across the region. After Gaza, the Israeli Defense Forces have launched a ground offensive in Lebanon, calling it a "limited operation". The IDF says it's conducting targeted raids along the northern border. There are no reports of direct clashes between the Israeli soldiers and Hezbollah fighters yet, however, given the current state of affairs, a wider attack cannot be ruled out. The Israeli military has even issued warning to the locals, asking them to vacate the border areas. More than one million people have already been displaced in Lebanon due to Israeli attacks. Lebanon-based Hezbollah has vowed to hit back against Israel and avenge the death of its leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli strike. Hezbollah, one of Iran's proxy groups, is also getting support from the Houthi rebels in Yemen. If Israel continues to attack Lebanon, Iran and its proxies are bound to retaliate.
