Introduction to Management Information Systems (SIM) Courses Based on Outcome-Based Education

Let me introduce myself as Fikri Hamidy, your lecturer in the Management Information Systems course.

Welcome to the Management Information Systems (MIS) course! This course is designed based on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach, which places emphasis on the desired outcomes of learning, as well as the abilities and competencies that students must have after completing this course.

At the end of this course, students are expected to be able to:
1. Understand the basic concepts of Management Information Systems (MIS) and their role in organizations.
2. Identify and analyze information needs in a management context.
3. Apply methods and techniques in the development and implementation of management information systems.
4. Able to evaluate the performance of the management information system and provide recommendations for improvement.
5. Develop communication and collaboration skills in work teams.

For example, after completing this course, students are expected to be able to design and implement management information systems to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes in a company.
