Directed by Frank Darabont, based on a story by Stephen King. Starring Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman, Bob Gunton, Clancy Brown, Gil Bellows and James Whitmore as Brooks. Music by Thomas Newman, who received his first two Oscar nominations that year (for this and for Little Women).
