A great design to start with for Longarm quilting and free-motion quilting is: The Meander.
This design is a foundational one, so it is really important to practice as many other designs build off of it. But even in its simplest form, there are variations: enter Stippling.
Stippling is a bit denser, but similar in design aesthetic. It makes for a great filler choice in smaller negative spaces on your quilt top. But what if you want more density. That's when you get into Micro-Stippling. The ultra small scale filler to create dynamic shapes.
This video is going to give you a great overview of each along with tips on where to use the design, how to achieve the best look, and a visual overview of how it all comes together.
