That was really a lesson I learned from Joe I mean we we had guys We had a big-time running back in Pennsylvania came up and visit us and he sits at goes in to meet with Joe and Joe says "Look You know what we're about okay You know what we stand for You know what we" He said he said he said he said "I'm not gonna sit here and give you a big sales pitch." And the kid looks at him kind of a smart-ass He says you know "Well come on Coach Give me give me the pitch Come on I wanna hear your sales pitch."

He goes "Well guess what You're gonna have to go to study hall 4 nights a week when you're a freshman till you get a certain GPA You're gonna have to get up and go to breakfast by 8:30 in the morning even if you don't have class till 10:00 5 days a week I'm gonna have make you do certain things We're gonna class check you If you skip class you're not gonna play."

He went down all these things And so when the meeting's over Joe said "Hey what'd you think of that sales pitch?" I go "Well it wasn't exactly what he wanted to hear." And he said "Well if he's the right kid he'll come If he's not we're better off knowing that now." And that was just a a a statement of "This is what we are If you don't wanna be part of it then don't come."
