Power was invited to speak at Stanford by the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society. Co-sponsors of her talk included the Abbasi Program in Islamic Studies, the Office for Religious Life, the Clayman Institute for Gender Research, and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
