Amid the panic buying of LPG Cylinder and induction stove the Iran–United States conflict has entered Day 14, and the crisis across West Asia and the Middle East continues to intensify. The confrontation involving Iran, United States, and Israel is expanding with missile strikes, drone warfare, and attacks on strategic energy routes, raising fears of a wider regional war.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump claimed during G7 leaders’ call that Iran is close to surrender, while also warning that the Iranian government could eventually collapse. Trump also suggested that the U.S. may escort commercial ships through the critical Strait of Hormuz if required, as tensions around the world’s most important oil shipping lane continue to rise.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon says that U.S. and Israeli forces have already struck more than 15,000 targets during the ongoing conflict. According to U.S. officials, this war has seen some of the highest volumes of air and missile strikes in recent Middle East conflicts. The conflict has also seen the use of Shahed drones, underwater drones, and missile attacks targeting military bases and oil tankers.

Iran’s leadership continues to show defiance. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian joined public demonstrations in Tehran even as explosions were reported across the country. Reports from U.S. defense sources also claim that Iran’s potential new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Ali Khamenei, may have been injured during the conflict, though Tehran has not officially confirmed these claims.

The conflict is spreading across the region. Explosions were reported in Dubai, with videos showing smoke rising near skyscrapers and the iconic Burj Khalifa in the background. In Sohar, drones reportedly crashed in an industrial zone, killing two expatriate workers. Regional tensions are also affecting Lebanon, where the conflict involving Hezbollah continues to raise fears of a broader Middle East war.

The war is also affecting global aviation and shipping. Budget carrier IndiGo has introduced a fuel surcharge on flight tickets due to rising aviation fuel prices linked to the Iran war. At sea, oil tankers and cargo vessels are navigating a tense environment around the Strait of Hormuz. An India-flagged fuel tanker heading toward Africa recently sailed from the eastern side of the strait as shipping companies monitor security risks.

The global impact of the war is increasingly visible in India as well. Concerns about LPG cylinder shortages and cooking gas supply disruptions have begun affecting restaurants, hostels, and food service businesses. Long queues at LPG distribution centers have been reported in several places, while authorities warn against illegal stockpiling and black-marketing of LPG cylinders.

Reports Suggests, domestic LPG supply remains stable, and consumers are advised to book refills only after 25 days. The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has also urged consumers to consider switching to Piped Natural Gas to ease pressure on LPG demand.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned against those spreading panic about fuel shortages and said strict action would be taken against individuals or groups trying to create artificial scarcity or hoard LPG cylinders illegally.

Iran-US-Israel confrontation is rapidly evolving into a major global crisis affecting energy markets, maritime security, aviation costs, and everyday life.
