Alternate World - A psychodelic song about a place just like Earth with all Earth’s problems resolved. No wars. People loving each other. No borders, no cancer, no crime. A virtual nirvana.

Have you ever had a problem that you wish you could just escape from? Maybe you are having marital problems, a divorce, or problems after a loved one passes. Or, because people are not treating you the way you should be treated. Or maybe you've had relationship issues or medical problems or stress on your job. The "Alternate World" by Dr. Don is a song dedicated to your return to happiness. You want your life to be free of whatever issue is giving you grief or clouding your thinking.

"Alternate World" by Dr. Don, is about the shortcomings of living on this beautiful planet of ours. From the all the hate, inequality, and injustice we see on a daily basis, to all the wars that are currently running wild, compared with a world where the fine wine doesn't run dry. A place with no crime, no borders, and nothing but loving and hugging. Cancer does not plague the "alternate world", and there is no need for police.

Gorgeous galactic scenery is shown throughout the video, including an exploding galaxy to start the song. A beautiful rendition of earth is shown. Three women are shown enjoying themselves, holding a bottle of champagne, followed bya break-dancer, and a mysterious female dancer. Men peering through a border wall embellish that part of the song which describes earth as having too many borders.

The most harrowing moment of the video is where Dr. Don sings about war and the human race being so good at building bombs. Imagine what an alien being would think of earth. "Humans are just killing each other" by building bombs and warring with each other.

Alternate World is Dr. Don's 45th original song released in his short career, which was launched in September 2022. This song follows "Kind To Me" and is his eleventh song released in 2024. His twelfth song of the year will drop on July 20, 2024 and is entitled "Seattle State of Mind". Dr. Don's first song was "We've Got Inflation".
