Theme: The Operation of the Name is RELATIONSHIP-BASED
Text: Acts 19:11–17

The Name of Jesus is not a magical formula—it is a living authority that works on the platform of relationship.

In Acts 19, God wrought extraordinary miracles through Paul because Paul walked in intimate fellowship with Christ. But when the sons of Sceva attempted to use the Name without a relationship, the evil spirit responded:

“Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” (Acts 19:15)

This encounter reveals a powerful truth:
🔹 The Name of Jesus is answerable to those who know Him, not those who merely mention Him.
🔹 Authority flows from relationship, not association.

The devil recognizes genuine relationships. He knows who truly walks with Jesus and who only borrows His Name for convenience. The sons of Sceva had a title, a lineage, and religious exposure—but they lacked personal intimacy with Christ, and it cost them dearly.

🔥 Key Lessons:

The Name works where there is obedience, intimacy, and alignment with Jesus.

Spiritual authority is sustained by daily fellowship, not occasional confession.

You cannot outsource relationship and expect authority.

When you truly relate with Jesus: ✅ Heaven backs you
✅ Hell recognizes you
✅ The Name answers you

Let us move beyond religion into relationship, because in the realm of the spirit, who you know—and who knows you—matters.

“That the Name of Jesus Christ may be glorified in us, and we in Him.”
