After 104 years, George went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you to George, and his family, for sharing your life with us and making your community a better place. Meet Victoria with Caleb Shaw, Season 4, Ep 10 - Dick's Food Store

A long established part of our community, Dicks Food Store, has been serving the people of Victoria for over 80 years. From WW2 to now, their love of this community only grows. We are excited to check out the store, and sample some delicious food, including their world famous chicken salad.

We are so very blessed to get the opportunity to sit down with one of the original owners, George Hyak. At 103 years young, he tells us the story of how Dick's Food Store came to be. Our hearts were sincerely touched, as he is just one of the kindest souls we have ever met. The man helped build this community, yet he was so humble and grateful. He loves his savior, Jesus Christ and his community. We love you too. Thank you Mr. Hyak, Hyak family, and all the past and present employees of Dick's Food Store.
