[EDOPro]- How to 'Play' Vendread

Описание: Vendread is an archetype of zombie monsters spearheaded by their ritual monsters; that debuted in the Code of the Duelist. Vendread has 2 main things to set it apart from other ritual strategies. The first being the main deck monsters giving bonus effects to the Vendread ritual monsters and the themed ritual spells can ritual summon a Vendread ritual from the GY not just from the hand. 2 of their spells (Revendread Origin and Ravenous Vendread) , even if generic in what they can summon, name 1 of the Vendread ritual monsters in its text making them and the corresponding target (Revendread Slayer and Vendread Scavenger respectively). Their 3rd ritual spell lets you use a Vendread from the deck directly as a tribute cost, which pairs fabulously with the new main deck monster being Scar of the Vendread; which then searches for a Vendread spell/trap. The archetype's great 1st wave with lackluster following waves made many view Vendread as wasted potential but the 3 new Vendread cards in Power of the Elements do a lot more than one would think. Also plenty of good zombie support makes Vendread have more tricks. The biggest annoyance that I found personally though is the bonus effects to Vendread rituals are only applied if the fodder was on the field and you frequently rely on mostly Revenants (monster banish) and houndhorde (S/T banish) compared to the rest. If you are a fan of ritual summoning in particular Vendread is a unique flavor of ritual that is quite satisfying to use.
