Join me on a peaceful boat ride through Bangkok’s canals and discover the hidden side of the city — where local life and the river flow together.
We’ll start our journey from Wat Khuhasawan Worawiharn Pier, where you can get a private boat for just 300 THB per person (probably the cheapest in the area!)
📍 Wat Khuhasawan Worawiharn Pier
As we cruise along, we’ll pass through Khlong Bang Luang Floating Market, a lively spot filled with locals selling food, crafts, and souvenirs right by the canal.
Along the way, you’ll see:
🏠 Traditional Thai-style wooden houses
🛕 Beautiful temples lining the riverbanks
🛶 Floating vendors selling goods from their small boats
Back in the old days, Bangkok’s canals (khlongs) were the main routes for travel and trade — that’s why the city is often called the “Venice of the East.”
Our journey ends at the majestic Big Buddha at Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen, one of Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks. You might recognize it from a famous show or music video!
